Social Media Coordinator (Full Time)

NinetyEight is an agency built by and for Gen Z consumers, creatives, and curious minds. We're a strategy-driven Gen Z agency that puts storytelling and authenticity at the center of everything we do. We’re looking to hire the next generation of creative and analytical storytellers. 

As a Social Media Coordinator at NinetyEight, you’re adept at all things social media and always asking why. You’re hyper aware of TikTok trends, and the latest micro to macro influencers that are “in”. You have a keen eye for visual aesthetics as well as a knack for organization and planning. 

Your main roles will be content creation and managing social media accounts on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter. We are looking for a social media expert who is well versed in design, copywriting and community management for brands across various sectors such as fashion, tech and food & beverage.

Key Responsibilities: 
Strategic Planning - Assist in developing social media strategies across multiple channels, mainly Instagram & TikTok

Creative Direction - Strong visual creative sense and upkeeps the brand’s visual identity on social media

Content Creation - Create graphics, reels, and stories for Instagram as well as scriptwriting and video editing for TikTok (Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)

Social Media Management - Monitor, measure and analyze the effectiveness of all social channels, content performance and campaign management

Copywriting - Emulate brand and influencer voices on social media platforms including Twitter and LinkedIn; as well as contributing to blogs and presentations

Community Management - Engage with existing conversations surrounding the brand through comments, likes, retweets, etc.

Trendwatching - Remain up-to-date on current events and social media trends and apply these to brand engagement

Who You Are:
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Fluent in social media platforms (Instagram / TikTok / LinkedIn / Twitter)  
• Keeps up with current trends and events 
• Graphic design and creative direction capabilities utilizing Pinterest, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite 
proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator or similar softwares are preferred
Great time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and well-organized
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Able to take criticism and feedback constructively
• Passionate about Gen Z  

Hours: ~40 hours/week, Full Time
Start Date:
October 2022 
California based (Los Angeles preferred)

We are working with a nostalgic brand loved by Gen-Z's around the world. We are looking for a freelance animator for this 6 month project to help bring this brand's social media to life! The NinetyEight team will handle strategy and concepting so you can focus on creation :)

Additional Notes: 
Potential extension of contract up to 6 months
Each asset can go through up to 2 rounds of revisions
